Our longboarding weekend is an introduction to traditional longboard surfing. We’ll start with a practical theory session covering what makes riding 9ft+ boards unique, focusing on the purpose and functionality of cross-stepping and noseriding. After breaking down the techniques, we’ll hit the water and put it all into practice.

Suitable for: This session is ideal for longboarders eager to build their foundation, as well as anyone comfortable on a shortboard, midlength, or foamy who wants to try longboarding.

Wave height: Waist high, on our Cruiser Plus wave setting

Surfboard: Bring your own board, rent from our shop (limited availability), or use our 9ft foamies

4 Surf coaching sessions
2 Video analysis & Theory sessions
2 nights accommodation in a shared lodge (don't need to stay? Click here for our surf only package)
Small group size with the same coach all weekend

What to bring

Remember to pack your swimsuit and towel. Wetsuits are provided, but feel free to bring your own.

Notes

The group meal on Saturday is an optional extra and for other meals our waterfront cafe / bar which is open from 8am to 11pm.
