Description
The beginner lessons take place in the bay of the Cove, the area nearest to the shoreline. The bay offers slow moving, knee-high whitewater waves, which are perfect for beginner surfers to learn, practice and have fun in a safe and controlled environment.
Winter Surf Safety:
When water temperatures drop below 7°C we recommend rescheduling for under-12s. Lessons for young surfers and adult beginners may be cancelled at short notice if temps fall under 4°C, and all surf sessions (including Reef) will pause at 2°C for safety. We monitor conditions closely and will update you quickly so you can surf safely, stay warm and enjoy every session.
